So yesterday was my first day back in the gym… Wow, what a complete mind f*ck. I had to be careful due to my right shoulder. So I took it easy and started off light. That’s when my ego started playing tricks on me. I’m doing 30lbs, 40lbs, and max of 50lbs. And in my head, I’m like WTF is this? I should be doing 90lb dumbbells on each hand. Well, it didn’t matter because I know better. My shoulder feels about 80% healed (I think). I had a pretty decent workout going… minus the fact that someone I know interrupted me for about 25 minutes. LOL. But it’s cool. I haven’t worked out in months. Today, woke up feeling pretty good. Then as time passed, The pain starting coming little by little. Right now, as I type this, I’m hurting. But you know what they say… No pain, No gain. And I’m definitely revisiting my 225lb barbell friend soon. This time, I’m going to push more than 7 reps. BOOM! I’m done. My body feels achy.
