So today, I took some time to analyze the metrics to my website. If you own a website, I think analyzing your metrics is a very important thing to do …unless you just don’t give a crap. It tells you what you’re doing right and what you’re doing wrong. What’s working and what’s not. It’s only been half of April and so far the stats are exceeding the prior month. I launched on March 7th, 2008. But this chart does prove the fact that content is king. Not only this is a place where I put my work, I also blog about my personal life. So may think that can be a bad business practice but it doesn’t bother me one bit. I’m human. I go through human things. I’m not perfect. My work speaks for itself. So that’s enough talking from me, here’s my stats… CLICK THE IMAGE! DUH!

P.S. Thanks for reading my blog

This is my article about why flash sucks ass and some reasons why you should NOT make your site in flash. A recent study has confirmed what we all know, that surfers hate flash.
“If I’m going to a Web site, I want information. I want information quickly. It could be written in 10 point pica for all I care. I’m already interested in what might be there, why turn me off?”

Subtle use is OK. And widget use is OK. But creating an entire flash page is just overkill. Yes, you want to show off the animation and visual effects but you’re not thinking about your visitors you selfish twit!
The only types of sites that should do this are those that are already WELL KNOWN such as musical groups (U2, Mariah Carey, Three Doors Down, etc.), movie sites (because they are short term in most cases anyway) and maybe product web sites that are VERY FAMILIAR (Mountain Dew, M&Ms, etc.). Otherwise, It is a bad marketing decision to do an all Flash site.
SEO Content is what visitors want. Learn to adapt you flash show boaters.
