I woke up at 2:30Am because I fell asleep during the Red Sox game when it was like 9-3.  Went back to bed and woke up at 9:30Am. Told my nephew to get ready because we were going to the movie theatre at 10:30Am. He really wanted to see The Forbidden Kingdom but I always go see the movie of his choice. So this time, we were going to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He’s 11 but I figure he could handle this R-rated flick since he watches south park, family guy, etc. Plus he’s a really good kid and doesn’t get influenced from movies to do stupid shit. But I don’t recommend you to take children to this flick because there was more nudity and adult jokes than I expected. Prior to heading the the theatre, he was hungry and wanted some McDonalds for breakfast so we did the drive-thru thing and ate while I drove. LOL.

So how was the movie? It was good. I enjoyed it very much. Since I’m going through my own version of “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” - I found the movie to be somewhat similar to my current situation.

So this guy Peter was dating Sarah and she ends up banging another guy (some famous singer). So he’s going through the whole breakup phase and he ends up banging a rebound where he ended up crying after because he remember the memories with Sarah. Then his friend tells him to go vacation and he ends up going to this place that Sarah use to talk about located in Hawaii. He goes there and ends up finding out that Sarah and her new boyfriend was staying there. The hotel initially didn’t have any rooms open cept for a super expensive suite but the the girl at the counter Rachel Jansen (played by Mila Kunis) felt bad for him so he gave him the suite.When they walked away from each other at the hotel lobby, Sarah calls him a psycho stalker and Peter calls her a slutty whore or something of the sort. (I’m sure some of you guys might understand why I had to add that in.)

I’m not going to summarize the whole thing but Peter and Rachel eventually hooked up. But there were parts where Sarah wanted to get back with Peter but it didn’t happen. It kind of shows you the phase of a breakup. At first Peter would have flashbacks about good memories with Sarah which made him sad. Then he had flashbacks of memories that showed how much of a bitch Sarah was. When things weren’t going too well with Sarah and her new boyfriend, she started having flashbacks realizing how much of a controlling bitch she really was.

There was a part where Peter tried to get back with Sarah and she ends up blaming him for the breakup because he didn’t go out as much and spent one week on the couch in the same sweat pants. LOL. But she basically said she tried to fix the relationship by seeing a therapist and all this other bullshit. But eventually, later in the movie, she realized that she tried to change who he was.

When she found out her new boyfriend was ten times the jerk than Peter was, it was too late. He had feelings for Rachel.

After the movie, my nephew had a couple of questions about the movie. It was actually a scene when Peter was banging Rachel. Sarah heard them (since she was in the next room over) - where she tried to make Peter jealous. He didn’t understand that she was trying to make him jealous so I had to explain to him. But it’s good that I can teach the lil bugger these life lessons. He’s pretty comfortable with asking me stuff which is cool. We have a good relationship and I’m his favorite uncle. There was a moment where he said “I think Sarah Marshall was hot.” ROFL. And I told him I like the dark haired one more. He tried to agree with me but I told him not to agree with everything I say and stay opinionated.

After the flick, we did some grocery shopping. I cooking up this killer Cioppino (a seafood stew) with some celery, onions, carrots, garlic, wine, and a bunch of seafood. But it was more Thai-like than the regular Cioppino because I added a lot of basil to it but it tasted awesome. My nephew had 3 bowls and my sister ended up having 2 bowls. But after that, it’s back to my little prison world. Blogging about my day.

Well, it was another Sunday with nothing to do really. I spoke to one of my best friends, Donny, and did some catching up. I told him what happened recently and he was even gave me one of those “WTF” responses. “Dude you knew her like since 10 years ago, how the fuck does that make you a stalker?!” said my friend Donny. I told him everything since he knows more than any one else about the whole situation. Even he found “her” strange along with every one else that I spoken with and especially with that stalker comment she made. Oh and did I mentioned that I got a text message from her that said that she hated me…. not once but twice in 1 text message. If anyone should be hating anyone, it should be me hating “her.” She basically shut me out of her life and then insults me by calling me a stalker. If anyone should be apologizing, it should be her crazy ass. And it made me think back to a few times how she spoke about me with some faggot (pardon my french) and said that I need to be with an asian girl. Why? Because she thinks only asian girls believe in settling down and raising a family. And I’m sure she left out a lot of details when she was chatting with the faggot (pardon my french) like… i dunno… when’s the last time we seen each other?! Maybe if she told the faggot (pardon my french), then maybe he would reacted differently. I have every right to feel how I feel about her. But she will never understand it because she lives in her own little fantasy world. Am I being too harsh? Maybe. But if you were in my shoes, I guarantee you would feel the same. Like I said, there are only a select few that knows about us entirely from years ago. And my boy Donny is definitely one of those people.

After all that talk about “her”, we caught up with what else has been going on with our lives. He has been building up his culinary skills. Which was cool to hear because I am a rising Iron Chef myself (haha). So we ended up talking about how we made our pizzas, similar recipe but he uses a bit more flour than I do. So I decided to give it a go. I started making pizza. And the end result… awesome as usual….

From scratch… How? You ask.

Disolve 1 packet of yeast in warm water (about 10 mins)
Then add:
3 cups of unbleached BREAD flour
1tsp Salt
1tsp Sugar
2Tbsp Olive Oil

Mix it till it turns into a dough ball then cover it in a coat of olive oil

Warm up your oven a little bit and turn off the heat, cover the dough with a damp cloth,
and let it rise (about 1 hour)

When it’s done, kneed it and then put on your toppings and put it in the oven 400degrees for about 15 minutes or to your liking.

Donny, if you’re reading this, god damn… your girl be uploading pics of the new puppy like crazy. But I have to say, the new pup is cute as hell. Makes me wish that I never should’ve spayed my dog. I really like the new pics of your daughter and the pup. They are both so tiny and look like they belong in a pic together. haha. Man it feels weird since you moved down to Georgia. But you got a family now, so I gotta make plans to visit you some time. Hope your ass doesn’t get shipped to Iraq any time soon. You and Linda take care and good luck raising DJ, Alana, and the mutt.
