Wooooooooooooooooo. What a great season. I can now die a happy man. I have seen the Red Sox, the Patriots, and finally now… the Boston Celtics win championships. The Rivalry was great since I have friends in L.A. that I’ve been harassing (~waves to minks~) - The score of game six proves it all. On that day, my BFF and I wore the same shirts to work. And I remember telling him…. 2 shirts means double the score and guess what? 39 point win. Check it out:

Damn it! We lost! But the atmosphere was great last night. Alot of people bailed on me but I ended up getting my boy Jose to meet me in front of Boston Beer Works. Its been awhile since he been to a Sox game so he was stoked. I waited quite a bit but he eventually showed up at 6:58PM. We entered Gate D and made our way to Gate C where our seats were located. It was my first time sitting in bleacher seats but wow… what an experience. I was right behind the bullpen and had a pretty good view from right field. I didn’t know that the wave starts from the bleachers - right under the JumboTron. But there was a couple guys about 10 rows up from us that were denouncing the wave. It was hilarious. When the wave was trying to build momentum, i raised my arms up and they were like “DO NOT DO THE WAVE” - “SECTION 42 DOES NOT DO WAVES” and then he crosses his forearms to form an X to the wave. It was awesome. Bleacher fans are the most fun - I must say. Then after the game, I went to Gate D to meet up with my sister and her boyfriend. Gate D is where the players exit from in their nice cars. I saw everything from Bentley Continentals to Mercedes G5 to other fancy cars. I was standing in a spot where nobody was around and I saw Julio Lugo and I shouted “LUGO!” and he was like “Whats up man” and I said whats up back to him. It was funny. I also saw Varitek, Bucholz, Tavarez, Ellsbury to name a few. Then we walked about 2 miles back to where the car was parked way down at the end of Commonwealth Ave. But it was all worth it. Wicked cool night. Hahaha. Sweeeeeeeet.

It was an interesting first round of game 1’s… well… sort of. I couldn’t believe Detroit lost to the Sixers. Lebron James really lit it up. That dude is just amazing to watch. Is it just me or does the Washington Wizards have a reputation of shit talking which ends up smacking them in the face in the end? I don’t understand how Stevenson can call King James underrated. Lebron taunting him with the Tony Yayo thing was hilarious. He deserved that. But back to the only team that matters… the Boston Celtics. First half started off sort of slow. Paul Pierce hit a couple early sweet threes. Then the foul troubles came for Perk and Garnett which closed the early lead we had. Then Ray Allen lit that bitch up in the 3rd quarter. He was ill. I think he hit like 5 in a row or something like that in the beginning of the third. The celts ended up stretching the lead again and it helped calm me down a bit because I almost got worried. Last thing I need is another 2007 where the Mavericks lost to the 8th seed Golden Gay State Warriors. But the fourth quarter showed that the Celtics got an ill bench to backup the starters. Leon Powe came up with some pretty awesome highlight dunks. The only 2 teams that scares me in the East are the Wizards and the Pistons. But I think the Cavs will take out the Wizards and Detroit *might* be upsetted by the Sixers. I really hope the Celtics win it all this year. I’m still hurt over the Patriots. But man, this year has been awesome for the Boston sports scene. The Red Sox’s past 2 games were come back wins. The Bruins are in a comeback win situation. The Celtics are the number 1 team in the NBA. OMFG. And next year, the patriots schedule isn’t that bad. Can they do 16-0 again?!
Let’s go Celtics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
